K2O is equipped with 240v electricity and each cabin has a power point.
Bag Limit
Why do we only have a 10kgs bag limit?
We prefer you to bring your luggage in a soft bag / backpack for easy transfer and storage. The 10 kgs limit is particular rigid when your cruise includes a flight component. The helicopters and planes have to be strict due to fuel requirements and the limited space for people and luggage.

Own Fishing Gear
Can I bring my own fishing gear?
We do not discourage people from bringing their own tackle. However, please bear in mind weight / space restrictions when putting your fishing gear together. We suggest you bring your favourite reel, lures, hooks, sinkers and mono / braid but leave you rod at home and simply rig up your gear using our rods.
Can’t Fish!
I like fishing but I am not an expert, can I still have a go?
Most definitely! We encourage all our guests to get involved in all the excursions – you do as much or as little as you want. Our experienced guides will assist you with setting up the equipment and attaching the bait / lure. They will be there with the landing net to bring home your catch!!

If you are departing Broome, there are car storage facilities in Broome, call Broome Visitor Information Centre on 08 9192 222. If you are departing from Wyndham, there are car storage facilities in Kununurra, call Kununurra Visitor Centre for more info 08 9168 1177.
Departure Times
What time do we leave / arrive Broome / Kununurra?
Generally, we aim to depart from port approximately 3pm and arrive in port to finish your cruise approximately 8.30 – 9am. However, as with all aspects of this type of holiday, this is subject to tides and weather. We therefore prefer our guests arrive at least 24 hours prior to departure. K2O cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen circumstances that necessitate any changes to your travel arrangements.
The above timings apply to cruise departures from Broome and Wyndham only. The fly / cruise packages depart from Broome between 0600hrs and 0800hrs and return to Broome between Noon and 1600hrs. You will receive a boarding pass showing your transfer details. We ask all our passengers to call 24 hours prior to departure to confirm the time and pick up location.

K2O offer a complimentary transfer from your accommodation to the vessel and then back to your accommodation when you reach your destination.

Drink Orders
How do I organise my drink order?
You are welcome to organise your own beverages and have them delivered to the office at least one month prior to your departure. Alternatively, you will be issued with a selected list of beverages that you can chose from, and fax back to the K2O office with your payment details and your drinks will be waiting in your cabin when you arrive.
Chilling Drinks
Will my alcohol be cold when I get on board?
Your beverage order will be in your cabin upon arrival. You will be served complimentary drinks and freshly prepared canapes upon arrival at K2O. Illness
What happens if I am taken ill during the cruise?
Passenger well being is our foremost concern. Any medical conditions need to be indicated at the time of booking and recent conditions may require a Fit to Travel Certificate. Any other conditions should be confirmed on the Checklist received 60 days prior to departure. We also strongly recommend taking out comprehensive Travel Insurance at the time of booking. You will need to be covered for such items as emergency evacuation in the event of you needing medical evacuation.
Cyclones
What happens if we are prevented from cruising due to a cyclone?
Please see our Cruise Terms & Conditions for more information on cancellation & curtailment.
Mosquitoes
Is there a big problem with mosquitoes?
Mosquitoes are synonymous with the tropical climates of North West Australia. Passenger’s susceptibility varies, as does the prevalence of mosquitoes at different times of the year. We believe prevention is better than a cure, thus we ask people to use repellant and suggest lose, cotton clothing.
Children
Can I bring the children?
Children are only permitted when the boat is booked exclusively and they are aged over 16 years. Whilst the safety of all passengers aboard K2O is paramount to our crew, we remind parents they are responsible for the welfare of their children for the duration of the cruise.
