Welcome aboard from the friendly K2O crew who have a passion for introducing people from many walks of life, to the wonders of cruising the rugged, unique Kimberley coast and diving the pristine waters of the Rowley Shoals.

Our luxury catamaran K2O is a generous 22 metres in length (almost half the length of an Olympic swimming pool).

Launched in April 2004, K2O, a 22 metre catamaran, is purpose-built to cruise the open ocean and river systems of the Kimberley Coast. Hosting just 12 passengers K2O is designed for unparalleled stability in safe, live-aboard luxury, stepping aboard K2O feels like you are arriving home.

The shallow draft accorded by the ‘twin hull’ configuration mean K2O can access the truly unique attractions that make your trip on K2O a real up close and personal expedition.

Your safety and maximum enjoyment is our top priority during your voyage of discovery, (along with helping you land a Barra!). To safeguard this, the vessel is fitted with state of the art navigation and communications equipment, and built with the latest in marine engineering technology.

Galley

We attach great importance to quality food and a few drinks being a part of your cruise pleasure and relaxation. The gourmet galley sprawls between the interior of the boat and onto the back deck.

All meals are freshly prepared on board to your liking. Fresh fish, crabs, oysters and the like are caught and collected by you and prepared by us, for your enjoyment.

The back deck on the K2O has direct access to a chiller containing complimentary cold drinks, or your own beverages. You will also find an ice machine and hot beverages at your disposal.

The Saloon

K2O offers a spacious, comfortable area within the lounge to read, relax, dine and spend some time just enjoying the scenery. K2O is fitted with 6 climate-controlled air conditioners for your comfort. The vessel interior is set to a precise comfort level.

Library and Audio

K2O is equipped with a modern audiovisual, home theatre system for great sound reproduction and connection of all video and digital cameras for review of your day’s photos. A personal computer is available to copy photos from digital cameras to disc. Discs can be purchased on board.

The flat screen TV offers our guests the opportunity to track the cruising course from the main deck. You may prefer to come up to the bridge where the Captain will be happy to give you a short talk on the state of the art navigation and communication system on board K2O.

Please feel free to bring your favourite CD or DVD you may wish to listen to and share with the other passengers and crew.

There is a library of reference, fiction and special interest books as well as a range of films for your enjoyment.  There are magazines, crossword puzzles and board games also available for your amusement.

Deck Areas

The foredeck is spacious and extremely popular for sunset drinks or to get that early morning glimpse at the awesome scenery. You can sit safely with your legs dangling over the bow as we steam gently along the Kimberley coast.

In the evening, enjoy the crew’s hospitality on the rear deck as we dine under the Kimberley moon.

Accommodation

Top quality linen is supplied on board and changed every 7 days. A variety of pillows are available to ensure you rest easy.  Bath towels, hand towels and face cloths are also supplied. A modern washing machine and drier are available for your convenience. We do however recommend you use as much lightweight drip-dry type clothing as possible.
