“I’m Mikey Cunningham, and this October, my mate Ash Garner and I are heading back to the Kimberley — and this time, you can come too. We’re teaming up with One Tide Charters for a very limited, one-off adventure we’re calling the Two Buffs Trip — named after Ash and me, the Two Buffaloes from our Guys in the Gulf podcast.

It’s an eight-day fishing trip, from the 10th to the 17th of October 2025, onboard the incredible Kimberley Xplorer, cruising out of Wyndham in WA. We’ll be barra fishing in some of the wildest, most untouched country in Australia. This isn’t a sightseeing tour — this is a fishing mission. If you’re into waterfalls and birdwatching, this isn’t for you. But if you love barra, cold beers, yarns, and remote adventure, this is the one.

Everything’s included — all your meals, all your fishing gear, all the good stuff. The only thing you’ve got to bring is your own grog and your personal gear. You’ll fish from fully guided tenders with the One Tide crew. I’ll be bringing my own boat, Jackpot, and Ash and I will be right there with you — telling yarns, filming, and of course having a beer or two in the afternoons.

This isn’t open to the general public — it’s only for fans of the podcast and my YouTube channel.

I’ll be filming the whole trip for my YouTube channel.  So you’ll likely appear in some shots used in the episodes and online content. So you’ll need to be cool with that. Don’t stress though — I won’t shove a camera in your face if you’re not comfortable. It’ll be relaxed and natural, just capturing the fun along the way.
